Ah! sorcerer in New York, Balthazar Blake, played by Nicolas Cage, has to defend the city from evil magician Maxim Horvath. Balthazar needs help, so he asks Dave Stuler to be his apprentice. Balthazar teaches Dave the art and science of magic, and the two must work togheter to stop the forces of darkness. But Dave will need a lot of courage just to survive his training.
